Manami Hayasaki was born in Osaka, Japan. She has developed her paper cut-out techniques in school at the age of ten. While she was studying Japanese traditional painting at Kyoto City University of Arts, her interests began to shift towards western conceptual art. With these three methods combined—paper cut-out, Japanese traditional painting and drawing, and conceptual art— she continued to study fine art in London’s Chelsea College of Art and Design.  This is where her original world with intricate cut-outs were evoked. In this show, she exhibits parts of her Natural Hayasaki Museum series, named after Natural History Museum in London. Hayasaki focuses the everlasting relationship between nature and human, including an imaginative future Museum.
