Born in Hong Kong and grew up in the Lower East Side and Brooklyn, New York, Homan (Helen Wu) makes a debut curatorial effort for The Puffin Room. Travel, photography and indigenous studies has been her passion until she was introduced to working with materials from ancient indigenous tribes of Southeast Asia. She has been living a nomadic life for more than five years, wandering across oceans and documenting it in different ways. This journey of self-discovery eventually led her back to New York where she is able to share those experiences through creating art and music performance gatherings.  She currently divides her time between unconventional exhibitions and a devotion to the grassroots bag project Redpanda Village.
